To provide more enjoyment to customers with Wando seaweed as the millennium health ingredient, Haecheongjeong focused its research on processed seaweed products.

In 1997, we established the seaweed research team consisting of 9 members including researchers from the National Institute of Fisheries Science and university professors, with full-fledged investment in facilities, and launched Haechomiin brand in 2010.

The story on
production process

Everything related to kelp/seaweed from sourcing raw materials to production and distribution are under our direct management, and we have established a systematic production process.

Good food production requires sincerity from the production process to delivery to a customer's dining table. Haecheongjeong has received the HACCP certification, a food safety management certification, to deliver high-quality products, and we are systematically managing all production processes from purchasing raw materials such as seaweed and kelp to product production and distribution.

What kind of company is Haecheongjeong Haechomiin?

As the name, Haecheongjeong means clear water and clear sunshine, we have endeavored to deliver the healthy taste of nature to our customers with seaweed from Wando Island in the clean South sea.
Haecheongjeong Co., Ltd., which has been researching seaweed, a treasure trove of nutrition, so that it can be enjoyed by everyone, has concentrated on developing the seaweed food industry for two decades since its incorporation in 1997.
Haecheongjeong successfully developed the world's first starch-free seaweed and kelp noodle processing technology as a patented technology, and is now leading the new food & beverage culture as a specialist in seaweed processing.
Also, we are actively participating in developing eco-friendly products, love of nature, production, and engaging in public service projects as a reward to our customers for their love and trust.

What is the direction and business
strategy for Haechomiin in the future?

We are working hard to make it easy for many customers to experience our product, Haechomiin, the only low-calorie kelp/seaweed noodles in Korea which has been spotlighted as a super-convenient diet food, not only offline, but also online from TV home shopping to Naver Smart Store, Coupang, Gmarket, Auction, 11Street, and Market Kurly. Also, the patented kelp/seaweed raw noodle technology has been well-received overseas in countries like the United States, Germany, Australia, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia, and its scope is gradually expanding. Just as Haecheongjeong has pioneered the seaweed food market that no one else has achieved so far, we will do our best to propagate the quality of Korean seaweed food to the world as a representative seaweed food company by further expanding overseas sales.
